Kid at heart, enjoy having fun with my kids and passing down what my grand dad and dad taught me, two karts I am currently working on. Orange one is a lancer i believe and the grey black one is a clark.
Slick, we have fun with the karts! one for me my middle daughter building the clark for the youngest and one for a friend, brother sister that may be down. we turn the yard into a small oval course. Good times!
So how hard is it to convert a 1 inch axle to a 1 and a quarter, have extra axle bearing and hubs but bolt hole size is different 1 and a quarter is bigger. I really don't want cut and re weld brackets is there a small 3 hole triangle or 2 hole that will fit fit a inch and quarter?
I'm sorry to tell you this Brian, ....but currently....DIY is at carrying capacity for North Kakalackies...(excuse the spelling).....so.....you'll have to go......
Just Kidding....thanks for filling out your profile....
fabro unfortunately its not, I have 4 new bearings and carriers ready to mount and will not fit. i even tried putting the 11/4 bearing in the 1 inch carrier. no luck

Ok, that doesn't sound right, I know those two sizes use the same carrier; start a thread on the subject so it can be discussed a bit more... as opposed to loading up this thread...
clark 450 is almost done! a seat cover and 4 inch brake hub all that waits to be put on. Im going to let her run it the spring, summer, fall, tear it back down and get it blasted and powder coated during the cooler months.
4 runners 1 project, we like to ride, this is my 3rd go around into karting. the red and balck frame is a trick kart, the black one is a shadow, I believe the red and chrome is a coyote? not real sure, then the clark 450 that's waiting on parts and the orange lancer.
