I can only get online with my phone....but....on another forum...I tried Tapatalk....it made it easier to read the the posts....but it also eliminated a lot of stuff like avatars....personally....I'd rather let my phone be the limiting factor....and not the app....but....if you also have a computer.....Tapatalk might work for you.....

Not sure if that's sarcasm or not seeing as how you took a picture of the exact problem... but yes, you're missing the spark plug wire.

Yes kind of redundant but a picture speaks 1000 words. Obviously the ignition coil is missing my question i suppose is where does the the rest of it(once i buy the ignition coil tomorrow)
connect to?

Small black wire is ground to go to a kill switch. The other part goes close to the flywheel. Gotta get it close without rubbing on the flywheel. Feeler gauge/users manual will give u clearances if you want to be precise.

Also the magneto looks like it has a small clear rubber boot over another connector that could be used for an additional kill switch/button.

That being said do i need to take the flywheel off to locate the rest of it/or replace with a new one

Back at it finally...

Okay now that it is starting to warm up i can get back to this kart...

Update on the engine I got it to start it start on the 1st pull every time. I just need to rewire the electric start buttons.

I have a couple concerns about the kart itself however. I think that the rear end could have been built differently (better) but have no idea where to begin i would like to keep it a live axle for offroading. however the Larger sprocket will not fit in the middle and thus needs to be placed right next to one of the rear wheels.

will post pics momentarily

okay here are a few shots i just took.

Ultimately i would like to make the rear a swing arm being that this will be driven off road in the mountains suspension is ideal.

so here is where i need suggestions/help:

1- i believe the rear end can be improved upon i would like all the driven pieces engine tc etc in the center and not by the wheels if possible. Any suggestions on the best way to accomplish this as far as restructuring the rear? keeping in mind i would like to make it a swing arm.

2- Should i begin with chopping the back end off and than figure out how to rebuild the rear to place all the drive pieces in the center of the rear frame?

3- my axle length is 36" and 1" diameter i feel the axle should be longer in length due to the size of wheels i currently have i like the "beefier" look. Is there anything to keep in mind or that i will have to add inorder to succesfully place a longer axle on this kart.
