...Is the engine mount a piece of wood? At the very least I'd check very carefully for bubba jobs based on that...

get it...

that kart is NOT made to run a four stroke engine so it will not exactly like it very much ;)

but the front brakes and frame are easily worth ~500 bucks, add wheels and brakes and 600 is a fair deal.

you can get it for 4 ?!
well then, go get it!

But do not expect it to be a "hop in and go" kart...
the predator isn't performing anywhere near the engine it should be run with...
but it's a great deal and a great kart, the (comparably crappy predator is just a gift to sweeten the deal ;))

you can, but it will not perform as well as it could..

and that's not only due to the lack of horsepower, but because of the frame configuration.

for a quick run on a parking lot it's perfectly okay...
in a race, a similar engine on a kart made for such engine will show you it's tail..

[EDIT]
Hmm WAIT...
I can't seem to find the original configuration on the 597... all 597's for sale come with a 360cc FOUR-stroke engine (35HP) at least in my area.. *shrugs*

Maybe I'm mistaking and it IS a four stroke chassis... *shrugs pt.II*
but if it was it's a Honda MS360 engine originally (just FYI)

if you want to be sure, ask Dino.. info[at]dino[dot]dk ;)

I'd at least give it a look. It will drive just fine with the predator. Just won't set any lap records. I'd probably ditch the 2x6 motor mount though haha.

Get it ASAP, the front brakes are probably worth more than you are going to pay, that's a great deal.

I would jump on it. Plan on $75.00 for a new motor mount. looks like a metric kart, so parts will be a little steeper, but it dosen't look like it needs much.

I just took a 2nd look, that's a shifter chassis. Grab it and start looking for a CR125 or 250 to toss on there!

Ask him how much he wants without the motor, buy a motor mount and buy a kt100, or cr125. The kt100 is a single gear and would be cheaper, but also isn't nearly as fast as the cr125.

So after many e-mails, I ended up getting it for $375 and I also got him to throw in a motor mount. Anyone know if its original to this kart. And does anyone know what kind of clutch this is? It also came with the deal along with other chain and sprockets. I know they are not meant for this kart but I'll take them anyway!!

I think that's a 2 stroke motor mount, not sure. But it looks like it might be original to the kart. I also don't think it's not going to fit the 4 cycle engine.
