The other day I stumbled across this crazy Craigslist find, it's a go kart with a 2 cylinder motorcycle engine, for 300 ,what do you guys think

Thats the same exact thing I was thinking the engine alone cost 300 oor more, and the frame could use some more structure

i used to have a chopper with a yamaha 650 twin, tore the frame apart constantly

Engine does not look like something id want on that frame traveling down the street at 50+ MPH

I get what you are saying, a rotax 401 on a manco yard kart is insane, but it's just a 24 hp that's one of the reasons I down graded from the 34 hp rotax 440 ,because there was too much horsepower, more than I planned to limit the frame for, 24 hp is like buying a Briggs and Stratton animal motor or Briggs and Stratton world formula, I'm still going to brace the frame so it can handle the power of the engine, i thought this through for years now, and worked out all the flaws my design used to have and my old stupid ideas, and I think if done properly this frame will last

no I have a fast wish, like I said its 24hp which is only a little more than what some people have on here, this is equal to a animal or world formula motor on here, and there is a even crazier build than mine going on in this form, it's a yard go kart , with the similar size piping of my go kart,its a go kart with a 17HP 5 speed lifan 200cc motorcycle engine on it,but it will last because he's strengthing his frame so it would last the same thing I plan to do

lol only thing is the animal weighs a lot less may have the same torque but makes a big difference when you have a 150 pound engine on your kart compared to a 50 to 60 pound animal that is moded and pushes the same power

I already took that into consideration, and weighed the engine and it weighed around 70 to 80 pounds, same as the honda gx 390
