Well, engine has ZERO oil in it, but is still in reasonable shape... The combustion chamber is full of dirt, and some of the hardware is worn. Now... Does anyone know how to remove a CVT drive pully?

Do u want it off in one useable peice
A puller
Light heat
Loads of penatrene or crc
A hammer
Take the bolt out thats holding it on
Thats always a good start
Is it a taper fit or keyway ?

I can't really tell, but it looks like keyway... Though, being an EZGo golf cart, it could be tapered... Or both! But, don't really need to take it off in the first place. On a different note... Good news, everyone! I found a full set of Kawasaki Bayou 300 arms for ~$70, full shock set for ~$60 (also for the Bayou... Good idea?) AND have found an even larger (500cc) sled motor! THAT ought to give it the hill climbing power and acceleration I'm looking for! Plus, I should be able to use larger tires, too...

Ok I used so sell and service those. The only way I have found to pull the clutch without destroying it is with a puller! go to Buggies Unlimited and buy one it is a special tool. Taper shaft heat and beat does not work and will destroy a $400.00 clutch (cost new from e-z-go). Use an impact on the puller it will be tough but it will remove it. On the rear secondary lots of soaking with PB Blaster and gently beat from rear will eventually remove it.

The flywheel just remove the nut and slide it right off.

That didn't work... But, unfortunately, the engine has been rendered useless. Some of the guys in my metals class decided it would be a good idea to turn the engine over as fast as they could by hand, and oil just started spewing everywhere! This is, however, after I remove the cylinder head, which caused a HUGE FREAKING HORDE (about 12) OF FREAKING BROWN RECLUSE SPIDERS TO COME POURING FOURTH!!!!!!!

Saw a very simple suspension design for up front on a Kawasaki Teryx: single, wide pivot point on the top arm; dual, short pivots on the bottom. Then, also saw a different style of steering rack for the EZGo as well, one that was mounted on the front axle instead of the chassis. Would something like this be easier to use than the stock one for independant suspension?
Why would the oil render it useless??

The oil doesn't... The spiders did! But, good news everyone! Figured out how to go about building the subframe for the front, and have started doing an axle flip on the rear. The axle flip is going to be a bit trickier than I thought, however, as the top and bottom plate of the spring mount are seemingly fused together...
Get rid of al the spiders and use the engine....

Got the axle brackets off! But, anyone know where I can find a replacement? The one on the left is the one that needs replacing... I also found a factory lift block for a 4" gain in height: https://www.shopezgo.com/products/Lift-Bracket.html

Looked on amazon.com, shopezgo.com, and just around the web and the cheapest I could find was right from the factory at $18.71/each, versus $22 something from amazon.

Huston, we have a problem... Well, kindof. the isomount (one on the left in the above picture) decided it wanted to no longer be one piece, and promptly BROKE when I ever so gently tightened a single nut... And, I can't get a replacement for quite some time because of financial raisons.

Only problem with making them is there's no material TO make them at the shop, and I need to get it myself... But, on the plus side, I am almost done with the axle flip! It went a lot smoother than I thought, and with minimal modding of the leaf! Regardless of how the rest of the build goes, I am DEFINITELY getting a shock bushing overhaul kit!
