Well, I don't know what's going on around here, but a few weeks ago it was freezing and then the next week it was hot like summer. Last week was cold then got hot and now it's cooling off again...

I couldn't help but notice that the wording has changed a little.
The words 'global warming' is slowly being replaced by 'climate change'.
I doubt anyone in this forum actually believes that global warming exists. If they did, they would not be driving (or building) the hydrocarbon spewing monsters that our hobby consists of.
If there is an off world alien intelligence watching us, I'm sure they're having a good chuckle.
I know I am.

What are you talking about: "the hydrocarbon spewing monsters that our hobby consists of"?

My machine is as green as last weeks leftovers... :arf:

Hehe, you should've seen texas when it got its first "snowstorm". Like... a foot or two, people were staying out from 9PM (started snowing) to the morning just playing in it!

Ahhh... good memories...

And all I get is crappy rain.... I was driving today and, several times on the freeway, my car lost traction and I slipped around a bit.

Not completely. Mostly had to do with there being somewhat deep pockets of water on the road. At one point, I was trying to pass a car cuz I needed to get in their lane so I could take the off ramp. Well, I floored it and all my tires did was spin and I got nowhere until they were able to grip again.

Floored it on a rainy road? Dont have too much hp then if you even think of flooring it on a wet road.

I'm not sure I understood what you were trying to say. If I need to get over in dry weather and need to pass a few cars, I usually step on it for a second to quickly pass them and get over. I wasn't thinking about the rain, I just did it and all I heard was a loud BWWWAAAAA!!!! from my intake and I went nowhere. Then I had to let off to get traction again and then I slowly pressed a little more on the gas to get some speed.

Lol I was just making fun of how you floor it to get over into the other lane. My dads got the dirtymax doing a power slide on dry pavement from a 60 KMH roll on the on-ramp to the highway. BTW when making lane changes in a FWD car it can be a lethal mistake to let off the gas when crossing lanes with snow in the middle of the center line.

Yeah? Well, my car's not exactly a rear wheel drive, diesel truck... and it's only a stock 227HP 3.0L V6. When I'm talking about flooring it to pass cars, I'm talking about passing more than one, more like 4 or 5, which really isn't a problem as it picks up pretty quick. The fastest I've gone in it was 140MPH, then I saw a cop...

Lol, I see what you mean now. That's pretty good HP stock though gotta admit from V6. 140 MPH holy:censored: Kibble trying to kill yourself? How long did it take to get there and how did the car like being that high? Hitting the governer?
