Yes you are right, He was talking in a hinting way, making I guess subliminal hints to give him his money back or we are gonna have some problems, but thats over and i'm getting a kart anyway!!!!

I was referring to the sale part of the statement...
As for the pistol, there's three ways to handle that:
1. call the cops
2. simply say "bring it on, be-arch" or
3. yell (loud enough for the neighbourhood to hear) "You're gonna shoot me over a $150 go kart?"

He's got to live with guy so "letting it go....for now" is the best approach.
To me the "I want my money back even though it was my idea" is the neighbor showing you he's a jerk, but not much more.
Once the jerk intimated he had a pistol that may enter the situation it takes on a whole different color.
Now he's gone from jerk to ***hole.
Let him think he's won.
There are ways to return the favor if you're so inclined but time is on your side.
The longer before "things happen to him", the less likely he will be (especially as he's shown he's not the sharpest tool in the shed) to connect the dots.
On the other hand, you can just say "To **** with it" and figure he did you a favor by showing you what kind of person he is and stay away from him.

Well, Its been a long time since I have updated, The guy doesn't want an XBOX anymore do to the fact that it runs loud do to being old, But Looks like I'm going the money route again, I am selling some different stuff and Looking for donations, LOL JK. Working at my uncle for 5$ an hour for a 9-5 day and a 12-5 day so that will help big time.
But at the same time I am helping my friend who traded me the xbox restore my old kart, On a budget of(Drum roll) 10$!!! So could I put 2 karts into one build thread to avoid making bunches of new threads?

I can't wait for saturday!

I will be working for my uncle sunday and saturday, time to get paid! I will be working in his shop and cutting down trees and hauling them off with a tractor, and any other miscellaneous things he pays me to do! 5$ an hour 9-5 saturday 12-5 sunday, lets do some math, WARNING: Math is not that good
But it seems as If I might make 65$ And I have the other ten in my pocket, We might be getting the gokart this weekend!

Haha, I'm just 14, and I would probably help him for free he's my uncle... Well next summer I am hoping to get a job at the publix up the road... I'll be making real money then haha! And thanks everybody!

Publix Is a grocery store chain, That allows 15 year olds to work. I don't think they have publix in South Africa.

Thanks I think that way also, but it is always good to get some money to spend on this neat little contraption called a 'go-kart'
I'm 14 and Iv'e done everything from Seal Coating to Remodeling houses, So I have a lot of work experience already and i'm happy about that.
Nope, we dont have those. We just have open air markets. You have got to buy your meat early in the day before the day gets warmer and the flies get active. If you are underage you can get the job of the "stall crier", where you basically try get people to come to your stall and buy your stuff.

Wow, things are a lot different from over there from here in the US! We have supermarkets and things, It would be cool to have markets like that, There are flea markets similar to what you described.
