Hi,
My name is Denny and I'm an alcoholic WAIT SCRATCH that wrong forum. I'm in the planning stages of building a off road go cart now that the new predator 670 engine is finally out. I had a 8 hp. Manco Dingo back around 1990 and had a blast with it but sold it (I needed the money) now I decided I need another toy. I am mostly computer illiterate and don't own a camera yet so be warned. I have been lurking here for quite a while now so I finally figured what the heck.I hope to have a good time here and post lots of stupid questions that have been answered a million times already.

At 48 years old I have been out of school a long time! I am a night time security guard at a convent and college. Every day since I got the sales paper in May I have been checking for the 670 and every 2-3 weeks actually going in to the store to get the runaround. Thanks for the warm welcome! No I don't own a smart phone **** I don't even own a dumb one either!:ack2: The only phone I have is in my house, I don't own a computer either I use the one at work and then I barely know how to turn it on.:mad2: Where does the film go in a digital camera? And what kind does it take? :mad2: I want to know so I can get the right kind of camera so no one yells at me.

We were looking though some boxes at home and came across some negatives
My youngest sister had no idea what they were and how they worked

No one under 20 would be able to install a new film in a camera


What do u mean u cant see the pic u just took
What do u mean u gave to take the film to the photgraghy shop and wait a few days just to see the pics

Ha, my college degree required four classes on photography, learning to develop film and process prints... ya, those skills have really come in handy the last ten years!:rolleyes: LOL

At my school (Spartan High) We have MacBooks, Some of my teachers let us do whatever after we were done with our assignments. Its ok for me to check these forums at school as long as I have completed my work.:thumbsup:

LOL Poboy...we had computers in high school, but it was DOS run programs (basically it was a typing class).

Three years ago, my youngest was in first grade and had computer classes already. They don't teach cursive writing anymore.... Spelling test are multiple choice now (because computers give you multiple choices in spelling corrections)...

Was Microsoft DOS pretty much a command prompt run computer, With no mouse?

When I went to school.....there were no personal computers, no cordless phones.....polaroids were in their infancy......no microwaves. ....no internet. ....no cable TV.......integration was in it's infancy......skateboards had steel wheels.....half-pipes were in ashtrays!!!!!

So.....it's a totally different world today......
