Hello all, I am still working on this kart. just got the parts for the driven unit. now I need to look at the frame a bit more.

I am missing a few parts and wondering if anyone has this kart and would be willing to provide me the measurements for the parts. Specifically I need the dimensions the the two rear uprights that are part of the roll cage (part #73 in manual) as well as what looks to be a sheet metal spacer/bracket that attaches the front hoop of the kart to the front of the roll cage (part #69 Front Plate in manual).

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

According to my google-fu it appears the Dingo cart is the same as the Red Fox. The big thing I want to find is the front plate measurements, to make sure the roll cage fastens correctly to the kart. I have the access to the tooling to make the part, just need the measurements.

We need a picture or a model # or hopefully both.....The part #'s you gave are only reference #'s in the breakdown that correspond with a chart that has the description and actually part #'s........:useless:

You can see the part # reference in the part diagram for Manco parts on gokartsupply.com.

My karts have both parts, American Express has the front piece and the Fox II has the rear bars. The rear bars on my AmExp are different than the 2 seater Fox II, as they are shorter.

The front pan will be easy to fab, rear bars will be more difficult. I can get you measurements but probably not until Friday...

Poboy kartman- The model of the Kart is Red Fox LXT. Here are some pictures I found of the kart. . I am looking for the roll bars that go vertical over the engine. as well as the front pan (pictured) that attaches the red front hoop to the black front roll bar.

JMINDY Thank you! that would be greatly appreciated. My Kart is not a two seater, I wish it was though!

First I was mistaken... the Fox II has the shorter roll bars in the rear.

Looking at the the pics you posted, it is very close to my American Express kart. The front pan I know is the same, the rear roll bars maybe as well. Hard to tell from pics...

Here is the link to my build thread... See if the pics of the second kart (AmEx) match up to what you are needing.

EDIT: After comparing the pictures to my kart, are you sure it is not an Manco American Express... It sure looks the same...

Manco must of made slight changes, then gave the kart a new model name...because those frames are exactly the same. Some small differences like yours has a skid guard for your socket, rear wheels appear to be larger, and there is a plate on the bars for your steering wheel support (where your kill switch is), but the structure and design of the frame are the same. Engines are different, mine had a 6hp Tecumah.

Ok Coach Garbs...Here's your game plan...:wai:

Front Panel is 6-7/8˝ W x 7-7/8˝ H. Bent at 90˚ with about 1-1/8˝ L tabs. Odd size...but both are clearly just under.

Here is the back roll bar. Both sides are the exact same. I have an angle finder somewhere in my shop, but could not find it at the moment. Some of the measurements are hard to be precise, so I measured to about the middle of the bend, rest are from outside edge to outside edge.

Let me know if I missed anything and you need more info.
