Still learning this whole kart building/maintaining thing so bear with me please. I need to know if you can run a tcv with a dead axle cart, if so would I need a series 30 for the predator 212cc.

Due to the setup of a TAV2, you probably can't use one of them but, you can run a separate J/S to hold the driven & sprocket; the main thing you need to do is move the engine mount...

Just to clarify, a TAV2 is an all-in-one unit that mounts to the engine; what you need is separate driver & driven units...

Well... IMO, it depends on your dead axle setup. YES, it's 'possible', however there's only afew that have the 'clearance' to house a TC/CVT(Torque Converter/Continuously variating Transmission). You have to understand that the unit will protrude past the end of the engine shaft, further than a CC(Centripetal Clutch)... but the actual chain alignment is pretty much up against the block(on a TAV2).

It's probable that a JS (Jack-Shaft) can be fabbed into place to 'clear' the wheel and align the sprockets... however the engine would have be moved towards the center, for the TC to clear the tire.

Personally, i would make a live axle setup to use with any comet torque converter, i've never really liked the idea of a dead axle so have never used them.

Man, you gotta play on a one-wheel wonder before you can say that. I have both live and dead axle karts, and both have their place. But I LOVE to play on my daughters one-wheel-peel..... It is a BLAST......

I know i'm sure they are brilliant fun but i don't really like the fact that it only accelerates on one wheel so it wares that tire out quicker than the other and it only puts braking force into one wheel so thats why i like live axle setups! And my very first kart that i sold came as a dead axle and it was fun but i converted it to a live to get more traction!

Not all one wheel wonders are single tire braking...... Mine has scrub brakes on both back tires and will lock up if I stomp on the pedal. When they lock,I can send the kart into 180* and 360* spins, depending on the speed I'm traveling prior to braking....
I keep a bunch of spare tires for her kart as a new drive tire only lasts ME like 2 weeks tops..... I'm H€££ on tires..... :cheers2:
