ariel atom

Hi everyone. I want to build an a-atom. Although I'm clueless about mechanical stuff, I do have someone to help me with some of the things.

There are 2 things I would like to have while everything is in the beginning.

1. Anyone have the dimensions of the atom?

2. I don't want to use a 500hp engine. Any suggestions for a small engine that still sounds good?

um... Welcome, but, errr.... if you're not that mechanically inclined, that seems like a huge, huge project.

Some arctic cat snow mobile engine perhaps.. small, powerfull, come with a CVT..

a small engine? heck. slap on the 300 hp acura integra type r motor found on the ariel atom 3.5 and not the 500 v8 and the little beamer will pull doughnuts all day long (if you survive this build, I am going to give you a 21- doughnut salute, if there ever is one)

EDIT: you also can use a motor off a Yamaha R1 or a duc to give it that high pitched scream!

Well, but Jay just reduced the size... but that doesn't actually reduced the effort

Also, it is still a great build log, to see HOW it was done
