I couldn't find a cheap table saw, and really needed to just rip some boards.. I had a handsaw, and while it was okay for ripping the boards, it was hard to control. and wasn't that accurate. sooo... I made this. All the wood came out of my junk pile... clearly. I don't think any of the screws or nails in it, match each other either..
best part, the blade sits a 90degree with the top, it doesn't wobble, and it cuts stuff...
the bad part, the bolts going through the top, limits how far the fence can go that direction.. and maybe that it only has a 2 1/3 inch rip height.
I was afraid of it when I first started cutting pieces on it. but once I kept using it, the fear subsided a little... PS: that is ducktape on the top.
also ignore the neighbors clearly crooked
fence. she decided that she would put up a 10' fence, where an 6' fence was, still using the 6' fence post that where in the ground.. ALL BY HERSELF. [shes bonkers]
