The past couple months have been really hectic and stressful for me. I have been house hunting, which blows... Checking schools, registered sex offenders, and lastly, coming to the realization that my fire fighting days may be over.....
With that being said, if I have offered you help, parts, info, ect. And fell short on said offer, I apologize. If its something you still need, pm me. Lately, I have been having a hard time remembering if I'm going to work, or just getting home....
So hit me up if I can still be of help. House hunting and stuff done, FINALLY! I now have free space in my brain for karting again.....

I'm moved a little to far out of my district. Our bylaws state members must live in district. Trying to figure something out cause there are no other stations near me to volunteer at. It blows.... It might get worked out, only time will tell for now.
Doug, NOW I remember the fishing trip we talked about. It's getting to be the right weather.....

Oh, that blows. I can understand why that rule exists but, surely, with no other stations around, I'm sure you can work something out with the powers that be...

Well, now I live in the city limits of Houston. They have one of the largest fire depts ever, and a station just 3 blocks from me. There is a "thing" between paid firemen and volunteer firemen. "They" think they are better than us cause its all they do. I "know" I'm better than "they" , cause I've done all the same trading,have the same state cert, and I do it for free. Not to mention that I'm skilled in a lot of other areas that actually play into being a better prepared firemen. But o well....
On a side note, there is talk of my dept building a new station to cover the north end of the district, where I used to live. Guess where its gonna be? Hmmm, down at the end of my street......my CURRENT street..... !
