I would tear it down for you and check it out and do whatever it needs to make it rip!!! These are excellent engines and are of high quality made in Austria you ought to know about Rotax engines racing karts and all.Then you can race at night with us because the engine has lighting coils to run head lights.

Update:

Ah, we arrive home with the last of the rides I plan on building with excitement. I had to strap the back of my jeep down to get it home because it's just, well, long. (hold the comments...lol)

Anyway, 200 bucks bought this. Comes complete with an adjustable seat and the predator runs. I even drove it around the back yard with my legs extended fully.

Now here's why I got it.

The normal kart rods of mine are fun & all, but they're lightweight, flexible street/neighborhood racers. They do super for what they're intended but when you get them on dirt, well, 5" wheels don't help much and with no suspension, well, running off road could start hurting.

We proved that last year.

With the length of this one and the ideas I sometimes get, I think I can make one heck of a ride that will do 3 things.
1. Make a unique lakebed racer
2. Serve as My build off entry
3. The last ride I'll build for some time as I'm racing a bit this year.

For the couple bills I paid, we now have 4 complete 6" rims with front & rear hubs, a clutch with a 41 chain & sprocket I'll never use and this thing.

LOL, if this beast goes anywhere near the speed of an A10, i'm sure it'll be fast enough. LOL

26HP on a 200lb sled will fly.

This one is really neat because of the size. It's bigger than the normal thing I do so there's a lot of room in it. I can sit in it with legs extended and some comfort.

Should be fun... might have to put the others on hold to build this thing. It's like 8 feet long.

I think we can do that motor deal. She's gonna need something more than what I commonly use.

Shoot me a pic of that motor if you can please, from the Right side if you could... as BIG as possible too. This mockup on my computer is like 30" wide.

The trick now is to make the front clip. It's gonna be from scratch and fiberglass. It has to look just right.

The side jet engine thingies will be the tanks in the end. (ya, great place for them)

... and this one isn't all that hard to make really. Just stretch the back (only an addition really) then bring the front axle back a bit... then put a laid back kart racing seat in it... then the rudders. The space for the motor is quite large and will fit most things we could drop in there.

Funny thing about this... it's completely redirected my thought process. Sad.

Hey Kelly, I dont know what these are... didnt know if you could use em or not? They would have been thrown away and I snagged em... heck, for all I know they are from one of them electric wheelchair things. They are both the same.

That's nice of you. Those are Manco wheel halves. Are those 5" or 6" wheels? They look like 5's.

I'll take them if you're willing to part with them. Or, you can sell them on ebay for about 50 bucks each if they're not damaged.

Ditto. 400 mph may not be all that fast compared to an F-16- but when you see a staged bombing/strafing run and the accuracy in which they can deliver a payload- you realize it would be over before you knew they were there.

Of course a laser guided smartbomb can take you out before radar can spot the plane.....So I wouldn't want any American military aircraft after me......

The helicopters aren't all that fast either- but deadly as well. But I really like the warthogs as well. ...they are just cool......

Update:

A renewed energy has me outside stripping this beast to kind of "inventory" what I have here.

First up, the label on the back of it. I don't have a clue. Anyone?

Luckily, the rear 1" axle & all components came off pretty easily so we now have it stripped.

Among some items are the clutch (slight rust) but new and the chain & rear sprocket. I think it's a 41 chain... anyone need this stuff? I won't use it. Clutch is for a 3/4 shaft and the sprocket is a solid unit and fits the 1" axle with 1/4 keyway. A prior ding or two is on it from someone (not me) trying to remove it the way the keyway doesn't go... duh. Anyway, clutch is functional, I drove it and it's fine.

Then a few pics to show you the scope of this project. Keep in mind, I'm 6'1" and the bare frame is 2 inches taller than me.

Then, the adjustable seat... a perfect addition to... mua ha ha ha...

Most labels I came across I got off with a nice squirt of lighter fluid...
Only exceptions PE stickers.. but that seems to be paper.

I'm not sure about the lable. I stared at it awhile and still don't know. I'm no factory kart guy. Too bad Blazkoweiz isn't here, he's pretty good at IDing stuff.

BUT- the design elements I see point to a Carter, maybe a Super Wheels series. I'm looking at the square tube front axle beam in a round tube frame- which I think is odd- the seat and mounting, and the single, bent steering upright where most manufacturers used a hoop. I have an old Carter frame laying around that I occasionally molest for parts, featuring the same design elements.

If you've got the patience (or even care that much) you can dig thru here. At a quick glance, I saw some striking commonalities.
