The Iron Bowl was going strong Saturday afternoon. Auburn was doing great against the Alabama tide and half time hit. I was so pumped. Seeing A.J. scurry of to the locker room the way he did let everyone know that he had already been beat, mentally. After seeing that, I had to go do something awesome. So i fired up the go kart and had all intentions of cutting some donuts in some dirt. So i hopped in and rippe off. I was hauling out of the drive way, across the road to an empty dirt lot in the subdivision and as soon as i hit it i hit the front brakes, mashed the gas, and and cut the wheel hard. Whoops, i turned right, all my weight to the left. Something is wrong, I'm tipping over. Wait, no, dont put your arm out, i think to myself. Too late. My arm is now between the side rail and the ground for what seemed like an hour then on over.. Now I'm upside down. Pain shooting from my forearm. Its broken, i just know it's broken. My wife runs I've to me with a total look of shock on her face. I checked to make sure no bone was sticking out. I'm so embarrassed. I can't believe this just happened. Did anyone really see it? I hope not. Play it off. I think it's just bruised. In reality, my ego is bruised. So i went in the house, put my arm on ice and finished watching the game. Auburn won! Next day went to doc in the box and sure enough, well the pictures tell the rest. So, like the old redneck saying goes, "if you didn't break something, you're not riding hard enough."

. I once said to him "to be old & wise you first must be young & stupid"; his reply, after he stopped laughing (which also explained his laughter) was "if that's the case, I'm gonna be the wisest person on the planet"
