Got this today in trade for an old junk go kart. Its a MTD Yard Machine. Aside from the front clip its practicality identical to the 94 troybuilt. Murry type steering setup, 18hp opposed twin b&s. Fnr transaxle with vari-drive. Its complete but battery is junk. Previous owner said its sat for 3 years but was fired up this spring but he bought a new tractor due to deck problems. Not a problem here! :wai: this ones for my wife whos always sayin mine is to slow. So this will probably be my first speed mower build.

Speed; all you want is speed....

Forget it, Tony. My wife wants more speed outta MULE, too...

  :censored: :censored:

And here I've just spent ~6 hours trying to get the linkages freed up so the Torque Amplifier clutch and the primary clutch on my Farmall 350 will quit fighting each other; the TA is a step down planetary transmission in line with the main trans (which means it's a way to slow things down). I got the primary clutch adjusted; the TA clutch isn't fighting the main clutch any more, but I don't have the reduction box ATM: I think I can sort it all out, but I've spent the :censored: whole afternoon fighting frozen/ corrosion trashed parts.... I got to where I could try to work on this thing by backtracking the linkages, and tearing down the business end of the control assembly, just so I could thread the link shaft in/out of the turnbuckle described in the service manual....

Christmas

Unfortunately all our projects are on hold. With 4 kids to buy for on Christmas and two birthdays by then, we cant spend anything on our toys. But, maybe my wife will get me some old tractor stuff, atv tires and rims, go kart frames, ect.. for Christmas. ;) *wink wink hint hint* ;)
