I might have asked this of you before (if so- oops. Old age.) but do they race a Clone Class? As in, your class is based on the B/S 5hp block, right? Do they have a class where it's just the GX-200 and derivatives? They're roughly the same cc as the B/S 5hp, and it'd be interesting to find out how they're doing. Also, I'm shocked more people don't go nuts with the Subaru Robin OHC series motors. They're more expensive, but probably comparable to Hondas in price.

...um, what was the topic of this discussion again? Artichokes? Right.... well, my Mom used to make them, but I've never tried it myself, as they give me gas and I have my family to consider... plus the neighbors can't stand the smell.... Which reminds me- I gotta get back on the DIY GoKart forum and ask which format is better? VHS or Beta?

Well, Art is Art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, you tell me what you know.

Lol, Well to be legal in Jr drag racing ALL engine's must be Briggs style and 1 cylinder and naturally aspirated. However our track also doesnt enforce the top speed rating (If they did we'd be in BIG BIG BIG trouble). But there is one Honda GX160 (5 hp) running and he runs like 16 seconds @ 48 MPH. Not bad for a tired stock gx160! in a HEAVY HEAVY steel car. Now just think how fast my go kart will be!!

I dont think a kart with a 1.6 4 banger will beat my JR there buddy. Any junior that runs faster than 8.0 in the 1/8 can beat most street car's.

Nope, Not allowed too. And if we where we would have to set it all up differently. I want to go down to the states and run the "Wicked west 330 ft racing. Pretty bad *** stuff!. About 4.10 seconds in 330 foot at 78 mph! Pretty impressive for 330 foot!

Ohh our track has 1/4 mile capability's. It's just strictly not allowd for us JR's.. One time they accidently had me on 1/4 mile instead of 1/8 cause the stupid guy working the tower forgot and I ran like a 11.20 or something. Of course the engine was shut down at that point and almost on the brake's. So that's pretty impressive.

Because they dont want us going faster than 7.90 @ 85 mph in the 1/8. Yet most of the tracks within 7 hours of here will allow us to run our car at almost 90 mph at 7.60. They also arent strict at ALL with the rules but when the word 1/4 mile and Junior comes up all tracks are a Bit#$ about it. And pretty well 99.8% of people here havent drivven a FAST JR it get's a bit wavy at the top end.

This has to be the silliest post I read in a long time.
Compare Apples to Apples, Oranges to Oranges.
Drag vs. Drag, Street vs. Street and Off Road vs. Off Road, Also in the same class. Ive never kart raced, 1/4 mile with Real Cars and Trucks Yes, so to say a motified JR Dragster would beat ANY cart here is just SILLY!
I have a 100% STOCK Chevy Avalanche that ID blow the doors off ANY Stock Corvette being on the racing surface that I choose, SAND. You get the idea, Oh and if you think your stock Vette would beat me on sand, Bring your pink slip!
