I really would like to put the wraps on this thing. I propose the following: Let the buildoff run it's course, and get our winner without distraction. Then, we will take all logo submissions up to that date and put them to popular vote. Discuss...

Doc, I was going to say this in your Lawn tractor thread but this is more appropriate.

Doc's stickers on his tractor gave me an idea. We could have a sweet logo for a patch or what not, but what I think will be more usable is a simple diygokarts.com sticker with a few words around it like the ATLT forum sticker and the one on your van window, Doc.

I like Fab's sticker/banner idea (post #159)

Off topic - What year is that Windstar Doc?

1999. And yeah- I STILL would love for us to settle on something. I think after the build-off smoke has cleared, I'm going to put this to a vote. I MUST have DIYGK swag! Anyway- I wanted simple all along. Something that will translate well for printing, vinylcutting, patches- whatever.

Yes! Glittery retro vinyl heat transfers complete with faux chrome! I've been trying to source these type iron ons for Go-Kart Alley

Well then, we can use the crest & have the site addy next to it the same size but, most importantly, we need to decide on a font; something eyecatching but not too "busy" or hard to read, something that reflects what we do. Any suggestions?

Has everyone seen what T Man does in his vids, the way he uses parts & tools to spell out "T-Mans Go Karts"? What do y'all think?

Yupp, but I think it should be drawn instead of photographed, a more stencil maybe even blueprint'ish look, rather than a photo.

:iagree: Want it unique and cool but not where some narrow minded twerp cant read it. I like the way you think ,Tony. I'm glad you're handling up on this as I'm positive its gonna be great. I love it already. ......
Between 'sid and fabs, I think this design will be something we can ALL be proud of and happily stick 'em everywhere. ........ :auto::cornut:
