Honda GC160 governor

Anyone know how to remove this?

Actually now that I have done some research, it's a shaft from the engine case thats connected to a rod that is connected to the throttle linkage on top of the carb. It looks like a pain in the ***, overly complex, and is making my throttle cable situation look and work like crap.

Best to remove it internally. Have been known to fly apart above normally governed speeds.
