We have a list together of people that have voiced interest for our clutch and we will be contacting everyone as soon as we are ready to sell!

As for the tooth count, the smallest size that our design permits is a 14 tooth sprocket. Our first set of clutches will be sold with this sprocket size, and we will also be stocking larger sprocket sizes in the future.

Good deal. Thank you.

So, is it safe to assume that one this version is done, will there be some different kinds next? Like would it be possible for a TC type manual clutch?

It could if the belt was always in tension. Kinda like a Yamaha Rhino. The belt is always tight. The driver and driven turn when the engine is at any rpm slightly above idle. A wet centrifugal clutch inside the case engages the driver when it is revved up. There is also a one-way bearing to provide engine braking when you let off the gas.

If you REALLY wanted to (and I'm not sure why you would) you could use a Comet 40 and run the belt a bit tight. Witht he fully automatic nature of a CVT though, I completely fail to see the point.

Just saying it could be done. Doesn't really need to be a point. Beal asked and I gave a suggestion on how it could be accomplished. With the fully automatic Max-torque clutches, what's the point of a manual clutch for a go kart or mini bike? But we sure all want one. I know I want one. Be glad when these come out.

Only reason I ask, my kart isnt set up very well for a JS or anything. With the smallest tooth count is 14... way to high for my kart.

I think I may be able to rgify a gear reduction of some sort though, so Its not a big deal.

Still want one of these manual clutches...

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to chime in with a quick update. We finally resolved all of the issues we were having with our current supplier, and they have just shipped us a set of sample machined parts for qualification testing (should be here in a week, see attached picture). Once our testing is complete, we will initiate production. We anticipate that production will start within three weeks from today, and that we will receive finished parts for sale within 4-6 weeks from the start. We were bummed that we ran into a delay with our manufacturing process, but we are very excited to be back on track and have everything conform to our specifications.

We're getting closer!!

Well we got the parts back from our Suppliers, assembled the clutch, and installed it on the minibike (I know this a go kart forum, and we will be posting our go kart pictures and videos soon! Just wanted to give an update and show the finished product). The thing works great right out of the box. We're currently running the clutch through its paces and plan on doing so for the next 2 weeks. I've attached a picture of the clutch installed on our Predator engine- looks pretty good if you ask me! Also, notice how the cable is attached to the clutch. All the necessary hardware and components will be included so that all the user has to is attach a cable to the clutch and they are ready to go!

We're going to post a few videos in the weeks ahead; one of them will be a detailed look into the clutches inner-workings and will explain how to properly disassemble and reassemble it. We are hoping to post it from our website which is still in the works.
