Need help Muffler/Header

Hi I have a techumseh OHH60 6.5hp and i my dad is welding a header for me and he doesn't really know how to angle it or lets say like make it fit he knows how to TIG weld.

It's really going to depend on which way you want it pointed and what kart bits are in the way...best to have the kart on hand when he makes it.

What kind of vehicle will it be on, kart, bike, buggy?

I have the same problem right now. I think it's the best to have the kart around like jamyers said. Just cut out a piece of metal which fits to the exhaust port and bend the pipe with the help of a acetylene/oxygen torch (the pipe is filled with DRY sand, ends of the pipe closed). Then let your dad weld the pipe and the piece of metal together.

You can also buy metal doughnuts (yuuuuuuum). Seriously, I'm not joking! Just cut the doughnut in quarters and rotate, tack, weld.
