Creating a new Go Kart (Pictures!) QUESTIONS!!!
Hey Guys,
I've recently found this site and would like to put pictures of my own Go-Kart up! I have some ideas and would like to hear ideas and point of views.
First off,
My Engine is a Tecumseh 6.0 HP OHV Powersport.
It runs fine. Only problem, Slower than usual. I was thinking about adding a better air intake, but i don't know. Ideas?
That's the whole thing so far. The seat is pretty messed up. (The whole Cushion is too flat. It's off, btw.) Ideas for a new seat?
I also just fixed this problem. It was where if you turned the Steering Wheel, The metal that's connected to the wheel also, would hit the side of the Go-Kart, which made it grind. Found out that the Metal got bent. So i bent it back. Works PERFECT now.
Also, Just took out the Carburetor to give it a tune up, but the whole Screw broke. So i ordered a new one. Should be here by Tuesday.

Looks normal though. 
I'm also gonna fix the brakes since they keep sliding a bit. Gonna make it where it will actually try to throw me out.
Also, Gonna weld some metal into a base next and a bit back to the steering wheel, so i can install a Electrical Panel with every button to control the Go-Kart.

I'm going to add some lights to the top of the rack and front of the Go-Kart, then wire it back to the engine because i have a Magneto, which will charge the lights.
Gonna install a Radio possible in the future when i feel like it.
I'm going to remove my Gearbox and buy a Forward/Reverse Gearbox, so i can go Forward OR Reverse. (Getting out so many times ruins the fun)
Last thing,
I'm going to add an Electrical Starter, so i can start it up by a Switch (Key). That's what the panel is going to be used for. It will have the Key Switch, Lights, Forward/Reverse, Radio, and a Speedometer.
