What size nut is on the end of the axle?

I bought a Manco American Express cart frame with out a motor. The frame steering system and tires and brakes are in excellent shape,it looks like it was made strictly for a track because it's about 1 1\2 to 2 inches off the ground with racing slicks on front and back,it has a solid axle with a two piece sprocket and hub and the axle is key slotted from end to end. I have some big rims with knobby tires that I like to put on to make it higher But I can't find a socket big enough to fit on the nut that holds the wheel on. Can anyone tell me what size the nut is? It's the same size as the one on my Manco scorpion two seater.Once I find out the size I'll buy the socket.
