Got this about 2 weeks ago
have ordered new rims, tires, tubes, bearings and cushion for the seat

i already have an engine for it which is a Victa 160cc

running 80T sprocket on the rear and have a gear ratio of 6.1

the frame is apparently vintage but i can't match it to anything so i have decided to name it myself...if anyone has suggestions feel free to comment :)

I am sure I can go around 100KPH. I haven't accomplished that yet, because the brakes don't fully work yet + I don't want a blown up engine with a rod in the air.
Yet, I am very very very happy with what I bought for only €75.

okay so i have finally had some time to work on the kart (all school assessments done)
I have a few questions that i will ask in here as not to clog up the other sections :D

I have a rear drum brake that has worn down a fair bit. can i replace the shoe part like just the grippy part?
can i wack something on there so it grips on the brake. I cant find the inside parts in the same size

I am not too sure if they will help, but you never know...

Do a search for brake lining on the forum. I look forward to seeing this kart moving when you get your hubs back

haha Yeah that's what i was looking for just didn't know if they made it

Anyone who doesn't have a death wish... or are you planning for your kart to no be fast enough to warrant brakes :roflol:

I don't like your chances on finding replacements, but they may be able to suggest someone who can reline them
