Hi everyone,
I am very confused on where to place my welds on the square tubing I have. So let us say that I am making a right angle in the back of the go kart with to square tubes, where do I place the welds. On every side that the metal are touching each other? Also when I mount the spindles to the go kart do I weld the bracket on every available side to weld on the tubing?
Thanks for your help!

The simple answer is the more you weld, the stronger the join will be. If there's four sides then weld all four sides, but there's more to it than that:
What type of welder are you using?
What guage material are you using?
How much experience do you have?

If you can post a few pics of what you're doing, the answers you get will be more accurate

Cut the box section at 45* and weld it on all four sides.
