Need suggestions for a Big Boy Kart

I would like to purchase a go kart that is big enough for me. I am 6'1" and 330lbs and would like to ride alongside my son on his kart. I have tried to fit on his and it aint gonna happen.
Are there any models/manufacturers that make go karts for "big boned" people?
I do not have any fabrication skills so I would like to look for ones that are made by manufacturers.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I'm a big kid myself and back problems make getting into/out of go karts hard for me. A few years ago I ran across a Al sport exactly like one I had when I was a kid and picked it up. I found mine via ebay. The nice thing about 3 wheeler is that its easy to step over the center bar and use the handle bars to help sit your butt down, plus the seat is about 12" above the ground so you do have as far to go.

I'm in the process of up grading mine with new motor and new turf saver tires for a smoother ride.

You could get a buggy style like a Manco Magnum and change it to a 1 seater. I have a Magnum and It wouldn't be too hard to transform it.

What kind of terrain will you guys be riding? (hard core off road, flat-dirt/grass lots, streets/parking lots, etc)

I saw one these with 440cc snowmobile engine in it. Guy told me they could be ordered that way from factory . It was very fast and could toss a lot of dirt. But that was only while all three tires were on the ground and while driver was still in the seat.

Mostly grass with some dips and hills, No hard core stuff just whizzing around the farm. Maybe in a couple of years it might evolve to more serious stuff but right now its just simple riding. His kart is a 2-seater and his mama has to drive b/c he is too small.

Your right, the first one I had as a kid was powered by a 2 stroke JLO motor. It only had a top speed of about 35 MPH but the way it was geared it would climb straight up the side of a mountain at part throttle without hesitation. There was the added benefit of me being around 100 lbs back then too.

I'm really surprised that the company didn't stay in business, most people seem to like it. The company also built ones with full suspensions as well but that was the top of the line models.
