Bent axle

I have a bend axle (will verify shortly) out of 1.25" aluminum. I don't care about weight.... what is the strongest axle I can get without spending a ton? Steel? Chromoly? Other?

Still looking but, the problem that creates is, by the time you add shipping costs, you end up paying more. Shipping from US is unbelievably expensive, it's cheaper to ship from UK, go figure...

Jdh, Northern Tool is clearing out their go kart stuff in stores. I bought a 36" axle for an upcoming project for just over $20. Might be something to look in to.
