So far I have removed two bars so i can fit in the seat ,then I repositioned the pedal assembly, I probably do not need to stretch after all! which is good since i would like to keep the structural integrity of the kart,.. Pics coming soon, ... Mods is it ok to update progress here? or do i start another thread? Thanks

Very Sprint Car looking machine. A nice used 250cc water cooled dirt bike engine for the kart would a very fun machine. I run a CRF450 in Ultramax Kart frame . 15 tooth front and 22 tooth rear with 520 chain . Lots of cheap >New Radiators< on Ebay 50-100$. If it has 6" rims Outlaw Unlimited Kart guys are always selling used tires cheap .

yea fourtogo i was thinkin a 125 cc , but do you think a 250 would be ok for such a small frame? Right now it has a briggs 5 hp
Yes, a 250 is actually a small in size engine. I have a dirt oval racing kart and it has CRF450 Honda dirt bike engine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9YuKpW9ymg&feature=plcp . A 5hp is ok, But before you know it 5hp is just for the grand kids . You have a full safety cage put a safety harness in it

Welcome to the forum eatmydust. Rather start a new thread in the projects section so that we don't confuse people.

I love you kart. I would also try and not cut it up if you can help it. It is a lot of trouble to go to.
