I can get a scooter engine clone gy6 150cc, the only problem is the drive is made for the scooter wheel to slide on, how do you guys think I can use this to attach a sproket to drive my axle. My other option is to buy a harbor fright 420cc and add a torque converter. What would be better

the clone would is 275, but it has the long shaft made for a wheel. a sprocket would be too small, i would have to change the drive shaft so a sproket would fit. it sounds like a headache

In the long run, you are gonna like the predator 420 with the TC because it'll have a lot more power than the clone. Also, for that price on the clone, I wouldn't buy it. I can buy a brand new, 196cc Honda Clone for $250 and have it shipped to my house. But I'd rather buy the 420 Predator.

The predator would be better, but don't forget the comet 40 is around $300. That is about $600 total (if you use a coupon on the predator)

Pics of the driveshaft?

Buddy, I'm gonna give you my honest opinion, even if it will cost you about $500. The 420 Predator with the TC would be your best option. A 150cc with a TC might make that thing roll but not too likely. It looks heavy, maybe 500lbs. That is a lot of work for that 150cc.

Now it might be a certain type of 150cc with a gear reduction box and everything. I'd still go with the predator because it will have more power.

there is a sprocket for the gy6 that works on that shaft with a 5-30 chain which is how that was probably constructed. but it looks like your axle sprocket is on wrong side switch it to the right side and the rotor will probably line up with the brake caliper mount. go to this site: tomberlin 150 r tpg manuals. there is info here that will help.

I believe we need to get Toystory in on this one man. Dudes trying to promote other stuff on this website. These are the people that ruin a site with all the ads and crap.

Just went to the website. Its nothing, just a green screen, nothing else.
