the frame is now F***ED from doing wheelies and landing on the front end hard.

also, just letting go of the clutch literally bends the frame about 3 inches. the belt falls off more and more.

looking at it from the side, it looks like how a pickup truck with the frame collapsed would.

so i was thinking about parting it out but maybe not, i could build a frame out of square tube steel and attach all the panels from the mower onto it.

Why not do what the race mower guys do- use the original frame and run tubing inside it for strength? Or is it beyond straightening at this point?

the frame is just sheet metal with gussets, poor design. i have tried strenthening it with no luck.

the more i weld onto it, the crappier it gets.

i think that i could make a bulletproof frame and simply drop the body over it.

BTW the frame is not only the thing getting bent, i had to remove the hood because the weight cracked the front, and the front axle is flexing back and forth on the frame when i go too fast

EDIT: the paint, even though it is not great, is really hiding its age.

here is a picture of after i cleaned it up a little! the frame collapsed in the back and someone welded a ton of bolts in the corner...

Blue, If you ever want to sale those chains I would buy them from you. If they are 22x11x8 that is. I like the ones you have for they have so many cross chains. The ebay ones have like 6 cross chains. Your set has many.

Duct tape and JB weld!
:D

Think you could make some? Just cut the link and weld it around another?

if i had the same kind of chain i could make a copy of the other one MAYBE, but its even crushed in a certain way to fit around the wheel, i dont think it would be as good as the other

Maybe build a press of some sort? May not be as good, but if it can be made cheaply enough maybe it could be a small side project to bring in some $$$...
