Can i use parts off of a Honda 50cc ATV for a gokart?

I have my little brothers old Honda 50cc ATV. I was wondering if i could use parts from it. Such as. Wheels, Steering mechanism, brakes, and really anything else i can!

you can use anything you want its your build!! many people do use parts from atvs too... i wish i had one!!! haha

Thanks man, i had a friend telling me that basically anything off the atv would be useless! -.- now i regret listening him. This will help me alot with total costs

yep no problem!! you can use almost everything on an atv so idk why your friend said that. make sure you make a build thread in the project log!!!

You could use the brakes, steering, suspension, and misc metal from it. Iv also seen people who cut the fenders to make them work for karts.

go karts have wheels and a motor and will move you places... ATVs have wheels and a motor and will move you places... seems rather silly to say one could not interchange parts between two different type of vehicles... especially when you see things like this:
