You should think about narrowing it to at least the width of a jeep, you will have trouble with the width on back roads.

Looking good, I have a question though. Where did you get that c-clamp for $1.99??? I need some more I only have 1.

I got it from unclaimed freight in Milaca, Minnesota. Great store

I would narrow it but its only 5 inches wider than our honda accord, and Im pretty sure its as wide as our van. I should be fine.

Man Thats awesome
Neat work man

Thanks

Thanks man!

ooo nervous reverse off the jetty i bet

Ya lol. I just got off and pulled it backwards.

Got my bearing carriers drilled for the 1/2 inch bolts today, and I but the bushings in my suspension :wai: . The rear end is basicly done. Im looking at approx. 15 inches of travel right now depending on how high I want ride height to be. Nothing like the feeling of acomplishment lol

Have you thought about how you are going to mount the rear shocks?

Hopefully I will be mounting them like this:

I might have clearance issues though, so I will have to find another wa to mount them if I have too.

Where are you going to mount the bump stops?

Also, I would have thought you would mount shocks farther down the a-arms toward the wheels. What kind of coil-overs are you planning on using?

Keep up the awesome work!

You will have to beaf up that upper a arm.

Hopefully I will do that tomorrow. I cant decided if Im going to triangulate it, or just put some bracing in.

Depending on the shocks I use I might not need bumpstops. I will be mounting them farther down, the pic was just a sketch. I'm hoping to get a set of Megan Coilovers off of ebay, but I would have to figure out how to mount them. Thanks!

Didn't work on the buggy today, but I got picked up a few projects to do while I'm waiting for parts to arrive:

1978? Yamaha XS400. Only 10,002 miles! I'm fixing this for my uncle.

Also picked up a older yard king snow-blower. Motor runs, but it has a few other issues (mainly rust). I cant decide if I want to fix the whole blower, and paint it. Or just sell the motor.

I also picked up a old 1980 lawnboy engine, and a a murray 3.5hp lawn mower. I don't know what to do with the lawnboy motor, but I'm hoping to sell the motor for profit

Hopefully Ill be mounting the seat and beefing up the a-arms tomorrow!
