Yes it is very common just like companys copying hondas to make clones. Companies coping each other saves the coping company money not having to pay people to come up with new diesigns.

I'd have to see the kartco from the rear for design but I've seen several of their karts look similar but not in any way identical to other designs.

if they were the exact same colors and had the same tires, itd be hard to tell them apart. main difference i see is the rear part of the frame is bent in on the yerfdog and straight on the other.

the number plates and roll cage look the same to me. other than the 2nd kart has 2 back bars and yerf dog has one.

I think you do...look closer. I see many differences. Clearly a different design.

uhm... no. There are way more similarities then differences. The tires are the same, the color is the same, the front end is the same, the seat is the same, the steering wheel is the same. The only difference I see is part of the roll cage.

I think there is a common look to most offroad carts in broad strokes, I have "copied" other peoples ideas personally as far as building my cart, you look at other peoples designs and pick the things you like and dont like and try and make it your own.

on a bigger scale, if its anything like bicycle frames (and I would bet it is) many of these things are frames they order from overseas wholesalers anyway, and they make little changes to keep it their own (paint, stickers, etc)
