I bought my manco about 2 weeks ago now and this is what it looked like..

Same picture from a different angle..

Notice that there is two LED flood lights on the top and of course the fresh paint job..

Enjoy the pictures....

Looks awesome, what did you pay for it?
I love the red and silver- what paint did you use?
Also are you planning to paint the wheels?
If you painted them red I think it woulf look sweet.

Hi mate thankyou for the reply i payed £240.00 for the go kart. And i used hammerite to paint the metal work which has took a good hold. Thankyou for your suggestion for the red wheels i will be painting them red when i have time i will post another picture with the final project. plus when i save up enough money i will be putting a K and N airfilter on it and a big exhaust

Thanks for the reply....

That was a good price on a kart in great condition. It looked good before, but looks even better now. I have liked the red and silver with black accents for a while, but have never seen it done. That's a great kart!

Cool :) I like hammerite to work with but I have not found it to be really durable. May just be my application though.
Just dont use their spray stuff- its crap and overpriced!
Another member from the uk :)
Amazing price for a kart in that condition- especially in the uk.
I didnt even know there were manco's in this country!
Is that a torque converter under the cover?

Hi mate yes that is a torque converter under the cover got that already installed with the cart. As for the hammerite i have gave it a thin first coat and a thick second coat so we will just have to wait and see how it holds but in this moment in time it seems to be holding fine. Good to see you are from the uk aswell mate:thumbsup: They engine is a 200cc briggs and stratton and it runs sweet as a nut. Anymore questions i am more than willing to answer them..

Thankyou to everyone who has posted comments on my thread:wai:

My old Dingo was like driving a Caddi compared to any other yard kart I have had. About 5 so far. I really like the hex axle and wheels as well. They are sweet karts that ride and turn great. The short wheel base put plenty of weight on the front end. Great design.

I may have a few of the original hub caps. I would have to dig. But I think I have some.

You kart looked like it was in near prefect condition when you got it. I would give some good money for an near original like that.

The tc alone is worth £150, the motor £150, the wheels £100 and everything else £150.
If I had the money and did not already have my kart I would pay up to £500.

In my market they go for about $400 to $500. Not as good as condition as yours. If you ask me the value of your kart went down a little when you painted it. Which is the case with anything really.

Here is the one I built up. I did a full restore.

sorry kendelrk i didnt see your post at the top there appoligies for that they LED lights are both wired up to a 12v motorbike battery which sits under the steering bar i take the battery off when i am not using my lights as it is extra weight that isnt needed. They are great in the dark they have a good beam on them and they didnt cost me that much £16.00 each. They were originally halogen bulbs in them but i bought LED bulbs instead for two reasons
1. Better quality light (white)
2. dont consume near as much voltage as a halogen bulb does

lights

I know the mancos look quiet good with lights on them and i tried them at night and they are really bright. Its morely just for the winter seasson when it gets dark about 4.00pm so they will come in handy for that i would reccomend that you get lights for your buggy really really handy

Cheers mate
