my first car would be to get a 2002-2010 subaru impreza. i wouldn't care if its an sti or not. ive been looking around on copart.com (auction, they have warehouses with the cars all over the country) so i might have a chance. there are some imprezas with just a fender bent in and no bumper. i want to get it because it has ultra traction on ice and rain and where i live alot of snow and rain. also i think its just looks awesome and runs like a beast.

what first car do you want and why? :auto:

A 70s Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler muscle-esque with 4 speed, chances it would have a /6, I would upen it to like a 318, or 360 maybe even a Hemi. Keep it looking nice, make it a semi show car...

Can we add what truck we would want? Early 80s Dodge d250, stepside bed, stacks, some big block engine, kinda like the lil red express truck, cept not red... preferably blue or green...

Why would you ditch a slant-6?? Those things run forever. Plus, putting a V8 in a car built with a 6cyl would require a new trans, driveshaft, and rear end.

Yeah, it never hurts to have these things laying around...

The /6 could go on a gokart... Which might be actually happen... or with a 318...

Yeah, ought to be fun...

Nothin a comet tc cant handle!
:roflol:

You cant even attach a tav to an engine without lots of fab work, theres no shaft coming off it like an industrial engine.

Heres my Slant-6, and the car its in.

I wouldnt be paying $200 for a TC to ruin it on a 100hp+ engine, how long do you think it would last? Might be kinda fun to see... unless it is a cood TC...
:surrender:

NIce engine, nice car too... What is it?

I already have my F100, but when I do get a car in the future, it's kind of a toss up. If I need something newer and highway/commute capable, I would probably get a 2003 or earlier Crown Vic P71 Interceptor.

My first choice would be a '49-'51 Ford though. Probably add some custom touches over time-lower, nose/deck, grille and bumper job, carson top, etc.

Showroom condition 1928 model A Ford.

Don't mean to nitpick, but the car pictured is actually a '30-'31 Model A, not a '28-'29.

My first car was a 64 Nova. Here is a 65 Nova I own today. The last 3 pics are before I did the suspension mods and lowered it. It has a CPP A-arm kit. This kit gets rid of the factory strut rod setup. Handles much better now. 2" dropped spindles. Power steering. Disc brakes. Sway bars. New springs and complete front end rebuilt. 3 way drag shocks. New 10 bolt posi with 373 gears. Heavy duty axles with custom offset Corvette ralley wheels. I also made that dash from modern quad guages.

It has about a 275 to 300 hp 350/350. With the lite weight and gearing it runs well.

I always loved the Chevy II Nova's for they are so small. But give you that muscle car look without the bulk.

I would like to have an original Austin Mini Cooper, cause, lets face it, they pretty much use go kart parts anyway.

Or a nice Datsun 510.
