Amazing Fab Skills

I bought this hacked up FL250 awhile back. I just wanted to show you guys some amazing fab skills.

The first pic show a really cool tach mount. They guy put lots of thought into it as you can see.

The 2nd and 3rd pic show some really nice work. The water jacket outlet was to close to the roll bar. So he used his great mind and came up with this. He cut 3/4 of the roll bar out. Then put a chunk of wood along with some electrical tape for extra holding power. It's better to be safe than sorry right?

The 4th pic show how he took the time to mount the engine. Why raise it up 1/2" when you can just chissel the fender out to fit.

I just thought this was amazing work and wanted to share it. we all can learn from this guy.

On a side note. Thats how I mount all my gauges in my drag car. I set them for when every thing is normal all the needles are pointing up. This way I can give the gauges a quick look and do not have to read each gauge. If all the gauges are pointing up I know all is good.

i just look at thev gauges and memorize there position
as for the tacho i go by ear and just keep an eye on how close to the red line

Well now if you flip it, the frame will bend and soften your crash

Do not know, The carbs were siting in a bucket of water. Had good compression an about 130 each side. But sand was all over it. Sold it as is with sand in ports.

This engine was a early water cooled sled engine. I got a lot emails over this engine. I guess the head is what they are after. I sold it as parts or repair for $200 plus $109 shipping.

Paid $150 and sold the motor for $200. It also hase a $250 Comet Driven which is a great upgrade to the stock Ody driven.

I was going to restore this one. But then I got that Challenger race chassis. So this one will be a parts bike. 5 Ody's is enough. Time to move on to another projects. After all this I will start my ATC 3 wheeler to Bigwheel convesrions.

I have a Bar Stool Project that might come up though.
