ya, I could por15 ... then Army green .....
You might try that T-man. If done while the por15 is semi tacky with slight finger drag the green may bond with the black like black top coat does. If you wated till the por15 was dry the green would scratch off like if you painted your kitchen sink green.
I have never tried this using others colors besides black.
POR15 tip # 135
Never paint from the can if you want to save some for shelf life. Once your brush hit the can moisture takes over.
POR15 tip # 12
Never shake the can. Air bubbles are not good. You can swirl but do not shake.
POR15 tip #67
Drill two small holes in your can. drain what you need out into cup. Then seal the holes with screws and o-rings Put can in baggy and store in the fridge UPSIDE DOWN. When using the can again. Drill two more holes on the other end of the can. This way your paint will last long time. And you will not have to deal with the skin that por15 will make.
Small starter kits you will not have to worry. But if you have the 1/2 pint and pint you may consider this.
POR15 STARTER KIT TIP #1
The first coat should look like crap. If the first coat looks good your doing it wrong and using to much paint to make a starter kit last. This goes for both starter kit and non starter kit. Just more more more so with the starter kit.
