Hi, I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out with this. I would like a mini bike plan/kit that can make it over light grass and light hills but can also go 20+mph. Please help me!!!!

heres a warrior. like the one i have.

heres a thought too: get a old crappy beat up one off craigslist, and tear it apart and rebuild it with custom mods. im putting a 8hp tecumseh in mine.

notice how the pictured bike has a torque converter and rear suspension. it can probably hit 40 on grass and still pop wheelies nice....

I agree  You can usally get a totalled baja warrior for $100 or less and then modifiy it to make it fit you needs/wants. Building your own off road bike would be more expensive if you had to buy everything becasue you need the steel, the wheels, the sprocket, the engine, the TAV or clutch, plus alot more stuff.

Just find a old ATC three wheeler and make a two wheel conversion. Go anywhere and ride it for another 30 years. It's a Honda. In my area I can pick these runing ATC's up for $200 to $300. Less for not running condition. You can also get most your money back by selling the axle/rearend and other stuff. Use the wheel, hub, sprocket and brake off a Honda Bigwheel. Make a swing arm and jack shaft. You got a nice little bike. Value wise you will do much better than a Baha. But then this is not really a mini bike. Just shooting ideas friend.

Also if you want a off road mini bike. I would look for a tote goat style or tote goat plans. Depending on what you want to do that is. But for the same money I would rather have the atc conversion. Look what you get? You could drag a Minibike thru thick woods with one of these while riding double.

if you could wait a month or so i am going to do my best to make a homemade mini bike almost identical as the baja. I have all summer so im not going to take any shortcuts and make it look really nice. I have so far bought $600 worth of parts and already finished the frame, dimensions, and planning out. I have the frame and the bike on google sketch up but i dont know how to take a screenshot of it. I will start a build log now with pictures of the parts, plans, etc. I am thinking that i will do a step by step video like t-man did with his trike, but i dont know if ill have the patience :) i am using 20 inch atv tires with a tc and jackshaft with possible rear suspension. I can also make a list of all the parts that i bought because they are all new however i got a hf 6.5 clone engine when they were on sale for like 70 bucks. if you dont want to wait i understand but frame construction will begin next week!
