well i started with a manco thunder bird, thats seen better days and had had a bad techumseh h35 on it, it started red as such http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...=1t:429,r:1,s:0&tx=74&ty=141&biw=1440&bih=809 then i took off the fenders and gas tank painted it black and opted at hf 6.5 engine, which failed, i then got a new one and when finding evrything okay i was out to paint it red again which i did, it really didnt look good, digging through my tool boxes for tools to change spark plug wires on my moms car. and found a can of 18kt gold plating spray paint and heres whats became of it

paint stripper, ive used on non-metal surfaces, works fine as long as you dont let it sit for an hour.....
