I am working on a new web television series profiling people who have made the world better by adding motors to stuff called "Add A Motor To It". We want to meet and feature the people who have added kick *** motors to things that needed them. Cars, bikes, trikes, go karts, eskys, bathtubs, couches - the crazier the better. If you’ve added a donk to something we want to meet you, so get in touch at simonc@threedrunkmonkeys.com.au

Definitely not BS - we are genuinely looking for people who modify or add engines to a variety of different things, whether that be go karts, bikes, trikes or something a little crazier like a BBQ, office chair or esky. Do email me if you are interested or know someone who fits the bill.

I was at an outdoor car show last year and some dude was cruising down the isles in a big Lazy Boy recliner with a weed-eater type engine mounted behind.

When he stopped to look at my car he told me the recliner was simply mounted on a complete electric wheelchair, and that running engine out back wasn't actually connected to anything but just used as a prop.

Does a bar stool racer meet the bill? Or Sled powered Odyssey's?

Anderkart - did you remember the name of car show?

Thanks,
Simon

That car show was at the Pavilions in Scottsdale Az. in January 2010. It was going on at the same time the Barret Jackson auction was happening here. I saw that recliner cruising the aisles on the Saturday, 1 day before that years Barret auction ended.

I might have some more leads/clues for you here:

There was a company at that car show shooting video for sale ads, here's a link to the video they shot of my 57 chevy: http://www.sellinaminute.com/video.asp?id=459

At that same car show, there was also a rather large radio controlled helicopter with a video camera mounted that was taking areal videos of all the cars. I dont know who it was but If you could somehow find his videos from this date on youtube or whatever, I was thinking maybe he got some footage (and/or info) on that recliner...

I would like to see a dog with no legs attached to a motor and wheels that he controls with his mouth.
