I bought a motor and it came with a belt clutch, and i was planning on using the clutch on a go kart but i dont know where to get a pulley for the tire from, would it be better to get a cent clutch and sprocket or is belt driven better? i understand there is torque converters but there to expensive for me.

Look at images of torque converter setups on gokarts. GOOGLE IMAGES it is very useful. the driven pully dosent mount to the tire, you need to make something called a jackshaft. Then the driven pully goes on one side and a sprocket goes on the other.

Most guys here use chain drive clutches, but you could use your pulley clutch if you want. It should work alright If you use the right pulley.

To help you find the correct wheel-pulley we would need to see a good pic of your wheel where the pulley would need to bolt on, and also some pics of how your engine and belt-clutch lines up to that wheel on the kart.
