Okay, I was told to use .025" or 0.66mm size bits when drilling out the jet on my engines. I have a drill bit set with sizes such as: 1/8, 1/16, and so on. What size bit would I use from my set, or do I need to buy a whole different bit set?

You need to buy a numbered drill bit set

HF sells the sets starting at 60 being the smallest. I need a bits in the 50's for my 6.5 clone if I remember right. I think I used a 58.

What kind of engine? what is the stock jet size?

I I remember correctly, the stock jet in mine was a 68(jet). Not sure what bit that correspond to...

You need a #72 drill bit. You should be able to buy one at a hardware store. You don't need to buy an entire set.

i think if it was me i would buy an entire set. not every engine needs the exact same jetting so saying that you need a #72 isnt really correct although it may get you in the ballpark. what i would do is get a set and drill up 1 size until you get the jetting correct. jets arent expensive but it would be a shame to drill it too big and have to wait to get a new one(i have done this).

He asked what size drill was .025, and if he needed to buy a set. I simply answered his question.
