Name is German. Pronounced "yoong" (with a long "U" sound) but we pronounce it "young". There are quite a lot of us in central texas. Galveston was a big entry point for the germans in the late 1800s.

We used to get some good calls for trying to sell us Korean long distance phone companies, though!
My hair was pretty long in that pic, too. It's shorter now, but not "short".

You don't get too many 'Jung's' here in South Africa, unless you are actually Asian. We got pretty normal last names here, with a couple of Dutch sounding ones thown in of course.
