tires on ebay are prob low quality and will wear fast, some racing slicks are 30 bucks. live axle is defiantly the best if you have the skills

You think those will wear fast though? I really would hate to pay 25 per tire.
I am thinking if it slicks i don't see how you can go wrongg..

they look like a good tire and look like they would hold up

There plenty cheap enough

I don't see nothing wrong with them unless you plan to do burn outs or take turns really fast like skidding.

They are 4 ply so they are really 6 ply so they should last

yeah thats what i am saying. I am just going to go ahead and place my order tonight, so they can hopefully get shipped out tomorrow.

Because i need some new tires bad. I only need a new left tire. But my right is stud tire, and my best bet would to replace both of them for even wear.

it could be done with a front wheel drive lol

But i meant with the back tires.

I just figured everyone else is like me and likes to spin there tires and get sideways
On the rear that is.

Am i wrong?

Yeah your rite. I had some slicks on my pocketbikes and they last forever.. Well for awhile i should say!

Next it will be my rear wheels i replace! Then rims!
After i should be set unless i want to paint it. But that comes last..

If you think about it, that's all they use at the little family gokart tracks is slicks. And those karts get used a lot!

Are you goin to go for a widder rear tire then what you have got now on the back after you do the live axle conversion?

If i were you i would make the axle wider than original that way i would have some room for some wide, short slicks.

But it is not my kart. Its your decision

They get really good traction on the road and the wider stance will make it look more meaner, and you will have better stabability.

Yeah i might get wider wheels when i change it over to live axle. But that is not going to be soon. Because my friend has to get a generator for his welder. Once he gets that we are going to change it to live axle and make a muffler for it.. Basically just a nice straight pipe :)

generator!? why does he need a generator, does he not have a convenient 230v outlet so hes going to get a 230v generator, you should get a generator-welder, they weld and run accessories, I've always thought they were cool.

Well the welder take 220v and only thing that is 220v is a washer machine. And if he hooks it up to his house its going to take away too much power and make the bill go sky high. And pluss the wash machine is upstairs so it will be kind of hard to do. That's why he needs a generator.
