First Go-Kart

This is my first go kart and I would like to know what I need to complete it.
For example what size axle I need, the frame is 20 inches wide?
And as you can see in the pictures, when the steering is straight the wheels would point inward, and when turned, one turns more than the other. Is this normal or should it be adjusted?

you should adjust it or you will get more tire ware and there not cheap $$ and for an axle i used a 46'' and its only a couple inchs wider then yours

Too much 'toe in'.
Front end geometry appears to be OK otherwise.

I have a similar set up in terms of steering. The kart won't handle ideally because it contradicts what's called the Ackerman Principle. Basically, to set it up properly, you would take a string and tie it to each spindle king pin and the other end of each to the center of the rear axle. The tie rod ends should mount to the spindle arms with this string bisecting the bolt attaching the tie rod end to the spindle arm.

I'd just adjust the tie rods till the axles look straighter, but then i'm a noob
