Hello, i am about to build a gokart track in the philippines and because its almost impossible to get asphalt here i was wondering if any body heard of a track built in concrete?
All thoughts and ideas to help me are welcome

I've seen it done and it is most commonly polished smooth to help preserve the slick tires (I'm assuming).

We built ours with concrete, worked amazingly well. It was a choice.

You're joking right? You know this depends on where you live in the world, distance from the supplier, your machinery, labor, and size/design of the track right?

Are you thinking of building a big outdoor track or a small indoor type track? Google image: Go Kart Tracks. There's are few big ideas.

And yes you would want to make sure your smooth out your track, otherwise it'll be like riding on rough roads. It'll shread your tyres up if not.

The one and only go kart track I've ever driven on was smoothe as a baby's *** cement.

I don't know how they got it that smoothe though, probably a machine... Why am I puting E's at the end of smooth?

I'd assume it was ground down by some commercial company. Just yesterday I saw a concrete grinding van on the high way and laughed but now it's coming full circle.

how do u smoothen out the expansion joints in the cement
make a bituman one

I meant how much did you pay, and i was saying that half sarcastic, i would imagine it would not be cheap, cheaper than bituman but not cheap.

I like dry dirt/gravel personallly, you can go sideways good and,

Its dirt cheap.
