Hah, I love that you think of food service as something you really need a degree in. I only ask that my waiters be quick to refill my drinks and write down my order correctly not that they have a diploma.

Seriously, without that degree you can not even join the Navy... the military an amazing option for many people, it provides direction, training, pension, health care, etc. Do you really want to give up on your last resort so easily? I understand you are having problems but from someone who is not old enough to be considered a geezer(i'm only 24 dude, I still remember wtf you're talking about) you should know my friends who did not graduate are kicking themselves over and over.

Your argument about trade school is foolish, those who go to trade school without a degree to back it up spend the better part of a decade being someone's lackey before they see advancement. If you need more words I'll give them to you, I'm trying to keep this simple but I can tell you what their lives are like if you really really want to know what future you might be in store for.

I know a GED isnt the same. What i would probably do is get a ged so i can go to tech school. Sure, it may be hard to get a white collar or food service job w/out a high school diploma, but with a ged and a degree in diesel mechanics, a blue collar job wouldnt be hard to come by.

he hit the nail on the head you cant even get a decent job as a mechanic with out a diploma or degree of some sort, **** listen mercedes techs make $96.70 on billable hours dude thats alot of $$$ just because they finish highschool and got a 2yr degree.

You will regret it the rest of your life, just stick it out. It gets easier each year. I loaded up freshmen and sophmore year, this year i took half time tech school and 4 regular classes, next year all i have is english and tech school.

My school system doesnt make it easy like yours seems to.

why not? i cant because im a skitzo

only one kidney and i can only hear out of one ear and i have a permanently dislocated elbow which makes lifting things and certain exercises nearly impossible.

well guess what i just found out today! i failed the ****ing pssa's and ima have to have a FIFTH ****ING YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL **** THIS **** SERIOUSLY! four years of hell isnt enough the have to ****ing make it 5 ****ING YEARS FOR ME..

WTF is a pssa? Kinda messed up that you have to be a super-senior because of one exam. Around here all we have is CSAP until 10th grade (doesn't even affect you, only the school) then the ACT junior year (only sent out to colleges).

i guess its like act but its the "pennsylvania state school assesment" and they ****in count it to graduating... i have 2 ways to graduate do some afterschool course and take 2 maths... then i gotta do comunity servise so i get a half a credit for and elective....

Beats another year of HS, just remember, somebody always has it worse. In MI we need 20 some odd credits to graduate and a ****load of required classes, when my old man graduated in 1978 he only had to take government last semester.

I have my own lesser BS to deal with right now, the school only offers advanced chem and physics in the afternoon, I have career center(digital electronics) in the PM. So now i have to pick 2 blocks i can take in the AM from a list of BS classes. I found out about this yesterday, my last day is Friday, can you believe that ****? Even better, I only need 1 more block to graduate, but the ***** counselor won't let me do that, gotta fill em both in as opposed to sleeping in till 9.
