farm quads don't use diffs, they have shaft drive and an angle gear box but no differential
i've never seen or heard of a 4 wheeler with a diff.

it's not necessary to have the engines syc up...

it's not necessary to have the engines syc up perfectly when doing a twin engine cart, if they're off a little it won't rev quite as high but will still have lots more power
