ZX6R Riding mower. Your thoughts?

I have another thread (http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=32555) about utilizing a 96 Ninja ZX6R engibe for a cheap and quick build play toy. I was wondering your thoughts on putting it on an old MTD 12hp riding mower.

Any thoughts, info, experience etc would be appreciated.

I would probably go with a solid rear axle like a gokart with the brakes from the bike, guages, radiator, trans, etc being used as well. Lower it down and get a better steering system to control it are also basic plan ideas.

What do you guys think?

I think take the body and hood off the MTD and throw the rest away then build a chassis for this and put on the body and hood.
Then buy body armor, Leathers and a good helmet. As well as medical and life insurance.

Lol all good ideas. I'm sure I could make my money back on the build by tempting a few arrogant "Fast and the Futile" guys with a well timed sarcastic challenge about how my riding lawn mower could whip them in a stoplight to stoplight race
