Here is a little bike I'm thinking about picking up from a friend....actually trading, but we'll see. This thing needs some work, but nothing to bad.

Here is a just a quick run down of what I saw last night after looking it over for a bit....

~no keys

~needs an air filter

~battery

~carb clean

~gas tank clean

~fried wiring

~missing right cover

~check brakes

~missing misc. bolts

~oil change

~fix oil leak

~zerk fitting broke on swingarm

~spark plug

and that was just looking it over real quick....

anyone ever rode one of these?

Never ridden one, but only heard bad. most people seem to agree they are slow and heavy. However it looks like its in good shape, probably be fun to buzz around on anyways.

Fried wiring doesn't sound good; why/how is it fried? Unless it was shorted somehow, fried wiring usually indicates a bigger problem

I'm actually giving it back to the owner.....he won't stay good on his end of the bargain.

The grounds were fried/corroded out.

got them fixed, but like i said above, screw the owner.
